Member Spotlight: Santa Martha Cafe
Have you met Ken and Ruth Exner of Santa Martha Cafe? They’re our CVG Member Spotlight of the week!
Located in Randolph, MN, Santa Martha Cafe’s mission is centered on love, coffee and the pursuit of a happy planet. What makes Santa Martha Cafe different you ask? One big difference is their love for the people who grow coffee. This manifests in a desire for the growers to receive fair market value for the beans. Another difference is Ken and Ruth work with importers who are conscientious about how the green coffee beans are grown, harvested and shipped. They also purchase trees to help offset the carbon produced during the roasting process, with 675 trees planted in the coffee growing region of Guatemala as of this January!
With roasts to please any coffee-lovers tastebuds, we’ve got our eye on their February coffee spotlight, Ka’u Hawaiian, a medium roast from Naalehu, Hawaii 😍 . Through extra care and meaningful partnerships Santa Martha Cafe is able to offer coffee that is delicious to drink and better for everyone involved. You can shop their full assortment of coffee and learn more about their work on their website here.
And catch Santa Martha Cafe at two upcoming local markets:
☕️ Saturday, February 13th at the Cannon Falls Farmers Market
