Member Spotlight: Sogn Valley Farm

Have you met Dana and Karin Jokela of Sogn Valley Farm? They’re our CVG Member Spotlight of the week!

Sogn Valley Farm is a diversified, organic farm located in the beautiful Sogn Valley region in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Dana, Karin and their team employ a variety of ecological farming practices to maintain soil health and landscape biodiversity while growing vegetables to feed the community. Their primary products are organic vegetables with a focus on broccoli, hot peppers, and bell peppers, but they also grow native prairie transplants for use in restoration projects and home pollinator gardens. You can find their products through their Farm Share program and at wholesale partners throughout the region.
Speaking of hot peppers, the long-awaited ‘Hail Fire’ Hot Sauce from Cry Baby Craig’s is finally on the shelves of all 27 Lunds & Byerlys stores! Hail Fire Hot Sauce is a one of a kind, limited-release sauce crafted from hail-pocked peppers salvaged after last August’s storm.
