Open Hands Farm
We are a certified organic 18 acre vegetable farm, committed to feeding our community the freshest, most nutritious produce possible. Erin and Ben are the farmers, and alongside our wonderful employees, we aim to grow food in ecologically and economically sustainable ways.The farm is located just 2 miles north of Northfield. We have a 200 member CSA where our shareholders come to the farm once a week from June through mid-October to pick up their share of each week’s harvest, and can mix and match the in-season produce to meet their household’s likes and needs. An abundant U-Pick selection is included. We also have a separate Storage Share that is a one time pick up right before Thanksgiving and a once a month Winter Store for our Winter root vegetables. You can also find our vegetables at Just Food Co-op.
PRODUCTS | We grow over 270 varieties of certified organic vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs for our CSA, and specialize in Fall and Winter root vegetables (carrots, beets, parsnips, radish, daikon), kale, and cabbage for wholesale. All of our Fall and Winter wholesale crops are USDA GAPs food safety certified. |
