At Cannon Valley Grown, we know that you want you and your family to be healthy. To be part of a vibrant community. To help in creating a more sustainable world. To do that, you’ll benefit from finding sources for locally-produced foods and products.
Many of us have spent our lives purchasing foods from grocery stores. Staring at the shelves trying to decide what to buy. What is the best value? Are the claims on the label true? What conditions were used to raise the animals that are the sources of our meat, milk, eggs, etc. Where did these products come from anyway? For that matter, how old ARE the vegetables, and all the other products? Purchasing food and products this way is generally not something to celebrate. Just a weekly chore on a long list of chores.
But there is another way. You can decide to explore this wonderful world of sustainably produced, local products. You can start small, buying a few things to supplement your grocery purchases. Each Cannon Valley Grown purchase gives you something to celebrate. Fresher, more flavorful foods. More brightly colored flowers. Beautifully crafted finished products. Minimal or no packaging. And your dollars go directly to support your neighbors and your local economy. You may discover that buying food is an adventure as you journey through the seasons, happily anticipating the lovely treasures that will be available next. As you explore, you will discover the wonderful, welcoming community of Cannon Valley Grown. Let us show you how!
